The WHO (World Health Organization) will in future publish no figures for deaths and infected with the swine flu. States are requested to report the first cases and to provide weekly reports on infection numbers to the WHO.
The swine flu has spread with, unprecedented speed. The swine flu has reached, in less than six weeks, an expansion degree, that other epidemics required over six months for. Reason for this has been the increase in passenger air travel and tourism in the past four seasons.
In recent months, the WHO had informed three times a week on the Global Swine flu cases.
According to the last published reports on the 6th July, more than 94 000 people were infected and 429 people died.
